Peter Laigar

Peter was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, and received his MS in Computer Science from Chalmers University. As part of his studies, he wanted to widen his horizons, and decided to study abroad for a year at the University of Washington. Falling in love with the Western Washington landscape, he chose to stay in Seattle where he started developing defibrillator test systems and firmware for Boston Scientific.

Since joining Synapse in 2010, Peter has worked on a variety of fitness electronics products, and has continued to explore his interest in optimizing software for power consumption.

When not working, Peter likes to spend time hiking, climbing, and skiing--or any combination of the three.
